ESS debug mode

Would you please explain to me the purpose of the sliding bar on ESS debug setting mode?

It's to provide more detailed information of the effect that your grid setpoint is having on the rest of the system. It is often useful for ensuring that no energy is going back to the grid if that is forbidden, but you don't want to loose too much energy from the battery.
