Phoenix 24/25 as power supply

Hello.

I have a Phoenix 24/25 charger.
Can I use it as a power supply?
I checked the datasheet and I saw "Can be used as power supply".
However, I didn't find anything in the manual about it.

I'm just interested in using it as a power supply for ToolkitRC M6D charger 500W.

Thank you.

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Take a look into the VictronConnect app demo library, there you can go through all devices and settings.

It's old big phoenix charger, without Bluetooth. VictronConnect app is not supported.

Ok, that wasn't clear from your original question.

If I remember correctly than that old model can be used as a power supply but doesn't have a special "power supply mode".

It will still follow it's charging algorithm.
That mean the voltage will go up to 28,8V and later down to 27,6V and 26,4V.

With an old MK2 Interface you should be able to change some setting with VE.config, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

Thanks.
Yes, I was able to change the max bulk amps, and absorption/float stages voltage without Mk2 USB some time ago by using two buttons under the hood (as described in the manual).

So, the main question. Can I safely (without burning anything on the charger side) connect the load less than 24*25 = 600W just simply to BAT1 positive and negative outputs?

Finally, I realized it.
In case someone is interested.
I did change the settings by using MK2 USB, created a new `battery type` as `Power Supply`, set 24V for absorption, and 24V for float, disabled "Storage" mode, and set the charge curve to Fixed.

Then connected Victron to Bluetti EB55 MPPT (12-28/8A) and everything worked perfectly. Not sure about reliability for the long term, but it works fine for a short time.

I think I will be able to charge the 2 Bluetti eb55 simultaneously or a single one in parallel mode (200W+200W) without an extra original charger. by using BATTERY1 + BATTERY2 outputs, or any other appliance.

Also, it will be useful for RC chargers like M6D.
