generator and multiplus

Hello.

Please can you answer me this?:

I have a monofase generator with 290V output.

If i connect it to AC IN in a multiplus, whats happens to AC out 1? Wiil i have the power from the generator directly connected to the AC OUT 1 and AC OUT 2? Meaning 290V in those outputs? Or is this input "corrected" by the multiplus and estabilized in AC OUT1 to 230 V? What happens to AC OUT 2? (voltage not "corrected?).

And if power assist is activated, i ll have power only in AC OUT 1? Not AC OUT 2?

Hope you didn´t try connecting it yet, manual says:

"Input voltage range: 187-265 VAC Input frequency: 45 – 65 Hz"

If you decide to try it out, lets us know what happens :-)

Multiplus or Quattros can't fix the voltage to 230 Vac and if you connect 290 Vac to Multiplus, the overvoltage will damage the device.

Yes, thats true.

So, you mean the AC OUT 1 and AC OUT 2 are the exact replica of the AC IN 1 ?

Yes, they are all connected together by the various relays. Vout = Vin.
