Victron VenusGX connection to Sungrow SH-series

Hello,

does anybody know if there is a possibility to get the inverter Information from Sungrow like it works (automatically) with Fronius?
I saw that somebody already did that but he only sells his "information" :(

Thanks!

Hi

Yes i have used a SG series and it works OK in microgrid type mode there software is not to bad in changing settings etc.

Just need to sign to there portal and be a installer mode, and you can all settings as required. one of the better ones to work, fronius still has a flicker issue with new firmware, the old is OK.

Thank you for your answer.

But what exactly do I need to do?
In Venus doing a automatic search in "pv inverter"
In Sungrow Installer Menu in can't find anything to setup regarding MODBUS TCP.

Thank you!

I did it more the basic way by using a ET112 smart meter and set as PV inverter and rename it as Sungrow, I am using a Raspi 3 this way.

Ah - OK!

I want to avoid using another SM.
As far as i know there is a possibility without any additional hardware, just using network connection...

Thanks anyway!
