Multiplus 1600VA

I have read that I do not need a battery protect between my batteries and my multiplus 1600va because the unit has settings to tell it to disconnect at low battery voltage, is this correct and if so what is the voltage that it disconnects at ? and can I change it ?

It has this. You can change the setting.

Range - either check the manual, or better, install the Victron connect app, pull up the demo library from the hamburger menu, find the unit under inverter/chargers and play with the settings.

@Warren Parkinson are you using LifePo4 Battery packs... the onboard BMS should have a low voltage cut off.
I have a Multiplus 48/1600, I set my minimum SOC to 5%
this works fine for me

but back in the days that I used acid batteries... I had a separate low voltage cut off
