Mppt 75/15 and 2x200W panels

Hi,

I have Victron mppt 75/15 with one 200W mono solar (18,7 Vmp, 11,34 Isc) on my van. My PMax is about 95W so I would like to put another 200W solar to the system to have better charges in not so good conditions. My understanding is that if I put them in series it will be still in mppt spec? What if I put them in paralel? Can max current from both panels damage the controller?

Thank you

K

@bjin21 You can have 2 of those spec panels in series, and stay under the mppt's max PV voltage limit of 75v. You will limit output to about 200w though.

2 panels paralleled will be above the mppt's safe Isc limit of 15a. Best to avoid that.
