Multiplus-ii 120v 48/3000/35-50

Does anyone know will the charger turn on when AC power is supplied, but the 48v battery is disconnected. My current GoPower inverter does not.


Two reasons why I'm asking:

First; The battery disconnect switch I plan to use needs 12v to actuate.

The 12v house system is charged from a 48v->12v converter. So if the house battery is discharged, the battery disconnect will not actuate.

Second; if the BMS isolates 48v battery due to low voltage, how do you start the charger?

The inverter is not designed to be operated without a battery. Usually you will set the configuration to turn off the inverter before the low voltage disconnect of the BMS is reached.
