OK to connect 12V load to Multiplus battery terminal (no battery installed)?

During initial setup of Multiplus and Cerbo GX, when no battery bank is available, is it OK to connect the Cerbo directly to the batteryterminal of the Multiplus (no battery is currently installed).


Just as a means to supply the Cerbo with 12V, when the Multiplus has AC in power?


Or is this a big NO-NO, even just for initial config of settings?

No. It is unsupported and a bad idea to run a multi without a battery.

This is well documented and there are numerous posts on the subject.

Wait until you have a battery.
