3.5kWh load on Multiplus ll 12/3000?

Hi all,

I try to figure out if a constant load around 3.2kWh-3.5kWh will be an overkill for Multiplus ll 12/3000? Any ideas if this will damage the unit?

Thanks for help

You mean kW?

Considering it can deliver 2400W and will derate if this is sustained, or operated in warmer temps, the unit is horribly undersized. Get a 5kVA instead and preferably a 24 or 48V variant .

That will require a complete change of the battery bank which I would like to avoid off course

Indeed but options are limited with larger inverters mainly because at those loads and 12V you’re pulling around 300A.

I know I wouldn’t feel comfortable running that amount of current

If i already think on what wires you have to use that the Inverter get AT LEAST 10V...

Recommended Cable lenght under 1m and at least a H01N2-D 70mm2 which support 341A S1. A H07Z-K with 70mm2 support only 270A AFAIK.
