The red auxiliary cable that came with my BMV-712 Smart was only 1,5 meter long, so I have to extend / replace it, with a 2 meter cable in order to reach my starter battery.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy a longer cable or to extend it?
If it can be extended, what are the required specs. (dimension / resistance)?
I have tried just to add 0,5 m default 12V cable, and that seems to have a significant impact of the voltage level, that shows only 12,9 V when charging.
