trmperature sensorfor a BMV 712 Smart

I have a question about placement of trmperature sensorfor a BMV 712 Smart, I have 6) 100hr lithium batteries run in 3) sets of 2 @ 24v to a + & - post, Question is should i place sensor on 1 of the batteries or the post the batteries all run to.

On the batteries usually. But the bus bar should be ok. It depnds are they heated, do you have to worry about low temperature charging?

Or just for general information?
