blue smart IP22 charger work modified sine wave and 25amp Sprinter cig lighter?

Ok just bought the blue smart Ip22 12/30/1 charger. Can I power this device from my 25amp rated Merc Sprinter cig lighter whilst driving in conjunction with my 300w modified sine wave? I was thinking I could set the current to 15amps nightmode/low current as to not overload the cig lighter? Anyone know if the charger will work properly from a modified sine wave? Probably just use in bulk mode to charge up my 2x50ah Lifepo4 batteries in winter with little or no sunshine. No I haven't got a dc-dc charger. I'm a newbie so please keep it simple for my very limited 12v electrics knowledge. Thankyou :-)

The cig lighter socket is 12V DC. Depending on model, your charger expects mains AC input at either 230 or 120 Volts.

Maybe you got the model wrong?

Yes its 240v that's why I'd be using a 12v to 240 inverter.
