Help to configure MPTT 100/20 e SmartShunt with 12V/165Ah AGM Deep Cycle Batt

Hello, everyone.

Last May I purchased, for the services of my sailboat, 2 batteries Victron 12V/165Ah AGM Deep Cycle Batt.

Unfortunately I am not fully satisfied because the batteries go down quickly, I expected a better performance.

Before initiating a dispute with Victron I would like to make sure that I have correctly set up my Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 100/20 and my SmartShunt Battery Monitor, 500A.

I wanted to have the correct settings of the two devices for my batteries.

I also wanted to know if the very hot weather in Sicily can adversely affect the performance of the batteries.

Thank you for helping me.

Vincenzo

Very high temperatures will reduce solar output and degrade performance of the batteries. Also shorten service life.

It would be very helpful to see the solar history and current readings. Also information about what loads are on the batteries.

Settings - use the Victron AGM settings, type 2.
