Orion DC-DC Non-Isolated output connection to another voltage source

What would happen if an Orion DC-DC Converter Non-Isolated, high-power output is connected in parallel to another voltage source that has a higher voltage? That other voltage source would only be providing power to the loads only when the vehicle engine is running.

Assuming common earth's and that the extra source doesn't exceed the limits for the DC:DC converter, nothing. The other source would carry the loads. What voltages are you considering?
