I use a BMV700 to control starting and stopping a generator to charge a 48V battery bank by using the BMV internal relay, which is set to close when the charge drops to 50% or battery voltage to 48V. I also have the relay parameter set so that minimum charge time is 3.5 hours. It works fine so far, but I want to externally inhibit the generator from running at night from 9pm to 9am. My question concerns setting #14 "Relay minimum closed time." If charging is interrupted does the BMV continue counting down that 3.5 hour minimum I have set, or does it pause the countdown when it sees no charging occurring?
