Returning to the off- grid cabin multiplus gives high temp warning on startup and won't allow inverter to turn on. Connecting with USB interface all looks right except input voltage indicating 33 volts on a 24 volt battery.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot?

First thing to do is check you battery with a multimeter. If the voltage is really 33V then that is the problem. Have that checked by a installer
If the battery voltage and the Multi reading are different then the problem might be in the Multi.
