Can I use two different size batteries together without any problems? One battery is 170ah and the other one is 100ah.

Hi. It's not good practice generally. Not too much of an issue if just under charge and using similar charge parameters. But I'd avoid discharging together, the imbalance they'll likely see uncontrolled can lead to failure.
