15kVA Quattro Loud Noise

Hi All, We are having a loud noise coming from the Quattro 15kVA. running 492 firmware (latest), so we tried the previous suggested fix. Can anyone help us? Shall we be concerned for system health? Noise isn't a problem because it is in its own shed, isolated far from health center users.

The job was done at Nila Health Center in Solomon Islands by our team in Solomon Islands. Its a simple single phase system, with 1x15kVA quattro; a few Victron mppts and 14x US5000B pylontech: VRM link https://vrm.victronenergy.com/installation/296569/share/ee02341b

Doesn't sound good. Do you have local support? Unless you get a better answer thanine, suggest you get in touch with the supplier asap.

we are the distributor, so product fault goes back to us and we work with Victron, so that is what we have to do

What load is attached to it? If you isolate AC OUT does it stop?

it doesnt stop. we believe its a faulty inverter. we are distributors so we have posted a notice to RMA for repairs. Its a bit of a tragedy... this island is 6 days ship from the capital, and serviced by 1 flight a week. It will be a challenge to ship the unit back. We plan to fly in a spare 5kw multi today to keep the power connected whilst we sort out this issue

The noise is still there. Ac out is showing 230v on the cerbo, but we're measuring 280v on the terminals and at the switchboard. This changes slightly under no load, going to 290v. Seems it's a faulty unit

We have had similar situations with 48/15000 with identical noise. All at different customer sites. One 3 phase and the noisy one is #3. One a parallel install with 2 units and noisy one was #2. And one split phase. Also keen to find out what may be the cause. David DPA Solar
