Quattro/ generator trips when under load.

A customer owns a Quattro Inverter Charger 12/5000/220. We experienced issues when running the generator (Northern Lights M773 9kw) to test the pass-through power function of the Quattro after a new installation of a Victron Multiplus II 12/3000/240. The Multi is currently used as the "master" in a multi/cerbo install and the quattro is running as a stand alone unit. After the pass-through kicks in (takes 2-3 minutes, which we think is slow) we've found the following behaviour: When the charger is running and the inverter starts, the unit will go offline (trips). This happens after we apply load and assume the inverter is kicking in to apply boost. When this behaviour happens a third time, the generator breaker will trip. Initially we thought the generator was the issue and looked into that. The generator tests fine. Look forward to your thoughts and input

First suspect is usually battery bank or a DC related issue.

Maybe a basic flow of your set up will help? It is not entirely clear how you have set up.

Is it the generator feeding the multi2 3kva that feeds the quattro?

Or the generator feeding the Quattro directly?

Do they share the same battery bank? Is the DC cabling of an appropriate size and how is the battery bank setup? What batteries do you have?
