Easy Solar 5000 not responding to AC input

Hi, my Easysolar 5000/48 has been shurt down for a 6 month period, and batteries are flat (23v). When i connect to mains there is no responce from the multiplus. no responce by the color controller either.

i have checked the connection to the Input breaker, that is fine.

Batteries and solar are isolated.

what have i missed?

Did you turn on the Power switch on the device?

Did you precharge the battery to its system voltage? The starting voltage of the EasySolar is at about 38 volts!

What kind of Battery are you using?

If you drained lead acid from 48V to 23V they will be dead.

Don’t start a multi without batteries. Besides being unsupported it is a good way to damage input relays.

Thanks for the feedback.

Batteries are Lithium Titanate, 48V , manufacturer reccomends charging to over 46V at 5A. looks like I need to get a battery charger to charge up over the 38v threshold.
