DC multiplus2 48/5000 Cable size

Hi can the Multiplus2 48/5000 support 2 95mm squared cable on the DC side of the Multiplus so that’s 1 pos 1neg?

Thanks in advance as I’m finding it hard to get 70mm2 from my distributor at the moment

The manual specifies 70mm2 for up to 5M and 120mm2 for longer runs.

Your 90mm2 is nicely in the middle.

Thanks Victron weirdly don’t spec any other size in between so I’m going 120mm2 which is way more than would ever go through there but most of the system is over engineered so might as well do it the DC side as well. Thank you very much for your reply

70mm2 cables are a bit tricky to install, but possible.

95mm2 would definitly be a challenge...

not sure if this works?! Maybe with special short cable lugs?!

victron spec either 70mm2 or 120mm2, not sure I’ll update here when I’ve got the cable and the inverter
