BMV is missing some battery recharge capacity each morning

Hello,

I have a 200Ah Lifepo4, a BMV702, a MPPT.

Each morning, after the battery is fully recharged with the solar panels (float mode) the voyage is 13.47V-13.48V, the BMV reads -1.6Ah, so I have to manually synchronise Soc to 100%.

What parameters should I adjust in the BMV settings to have 0Ah instead of -1.6Ah without having to resynchronise each morning?

Thank you.

Try adjusting the charge efficiency factor.

I agree that increasing the charge efficiency factor will help the BMV to 'track' the true Ah consumed & SOC %.

However it also sounds like the BMV is not synchronizing automatically during each full charge cycle.

Accordingly, I would also recommend to take a look at the 3 sync parameter in relation to what the BMV is actually reading during the end of a full charge cycle to understand what the issue is. Then you can adjust the sync parameters as required to achieve an auto sync going forward.
