Charge/Discharge issue below 90% SOC

Dear all,

I am struggling with this issue since the build of the system and literally I can't use more than 10% of my battery bank capacity.

The system is 24V:

BlueSolar MPPT 100/50

BMV-7022x

Lead Carbon 160ah

Battery Balancer (Victron)

5x PV panels (380W) in parallel

The purpose of the system is to utilize the excess energy during the day.

When the battery is discharged below 90%, the charging is nightmare - even I am switching off 4 of the panels in order recharge the batteries.if you see on the smaller snapshots, the charging process is stopping and starting frequently and for some time BMV show 0 A.

During this time the system is completely unusable - the voltage from the inverter side is drooping to 0 - I assume bluesolar is interning in some state...

Any suggestions?

(the data shown in the snapshots is pulled directly from bluesolar and bmv - visualized with grafana)

you will need to check with your lead carbon battery supplier, as to what voltage is needed for a 100% full battery, get it there to 100% and then test the battery to see if its got capacity issues or not.
