I'm hearing a faint crackling sound when power is connected to the AC input for a Multiplus-II 12/3000/120 - the sound is intermittent. All the wiring looks good and it is operating fine otherwise. Has anybody else come across this before?

Can't say I've experienced this with my multiplus ii.
My initial thought was the same as yours that maybe's it's a loose connection.
May be worth isolating ACIN, remove wires from terminals and putting them back in just to make sure everything is securely in the terminals.
