MultiPlus current reading incorrect

On the CerboGX, my MultiPlus is providing some weird readings. I've tried a couple different loads, and the wattage is in line with what I'd expect, but the amperage is giving very strange readouts. This is inverting only, after about a minute of letting the readouts stabilize.

17w / 120v = 0.14a

39w / 120v = 0.325a

165w / 120v = 1.375a

But when I look at the AC loads directly (main page, via GuiMods) the seem a bit more accurate.

17w / 120v = 0.142a (or 0.1a rounded)

Confused... Any ideas?

Hi @Eric M.

Power Factor. Reactive vs Real power. AC has 2 sinewaves for Volts and Amps, and they're a little offset/distorted in your case. Google it.

Victron usually report W as Real, and VA for Reactive. Might be caused by an inductive load or more likely a mongrel wave-chopping device in your loads. Something like a cheap power supply. The V and A are best-effort readings, and multiplying them gives the Reactive reading. It's normal.
