Programming MultiPlus

I purchased a MultiPlus, Cerbo GX, Touch 50, and IP65 Shunt. When is the best time to program the MultiPlus, before or after installation? I assume, it’s possible to connect the Cerbo and MultiPlus to one battery and change all necessary settings through the Cerbo online connection. Should I wait until after the complete install?

I sometimes put it on the bench and program sometimes install first then program. So really it is convinience or circumstances.

In either case, I do not connect the charge sources (pv or grid) before programming.

So, the Multiplus doesn’t need to be hooked up to any power source to program?

At least you have to connect it to the battery.
