Do I need to change the settings travelling abroad to a multiplus inverter

Good evening. Im looking at installing a compact multiplus inverter. I am planning on visiting a few different countries but have been told its a complicated process adjusting the unit to cope with different countries supplies. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

You don't say what countries.

There are effectively two standards, US and rest of world. Multiplus models are designed to work on one or the other, as is all the AC equipment running from it. So cannot be changed.

Easiest solution is to fit an autotransformer between the AC in and Multiplus.

Alternatively have two AC input sockets, one for your local power going straight to the multiplus, the second through a transformer into the multiplus.

Whichever way you go, check your AC consumers, most will accept the frequency change. You need ones that will run off both 50 and 60hz.
