BMV 712's operating voltage

The specifications of the BMV 712 state that operational voltage is from 6.5 - 95V. Yet, at 10.5 V my BMV stops tracking. My batteries will shut down at 8v, and turn on again at 9.2V, according to specifications. The BVM's voltage indication matches within 0.2V of my battery voltage measured with a volt meter. Any ideas why the BMV stops functioning at 10.5V?

I can only speculate that it's because 10.5V is the normal cut-off voltage for lead acid.

Are you using 4S LFP? If LFP, most don't recommend cut off below 2.5V, and there's essentially 0 useable capacity beween 2.5 and 2.0V.

If you're using 5 or 6S LTO cells, again, there's very little capacity usable below 2.0V.

If you're using something else, I'm very curious to know what it is?
