I have 2 battery packs that are 16S samsung SDI li-ion cells.
I want to build an off grid system that is not tied in to AC at all. So i would need a seperate charger next to my mulltiplus 48/1200/13 that i will be using as an inverter only.
Since i dont really want to split the 16S packs, my thoughts were to just not charge the pack past 58 Volts and therefor basically pretend its a 48V 14S pack.
My question is, can a victron Smartsolar mppt charger be set up to do exactly that? Can i set CC/CV charging caracteristicts with a max voltage of 58V ?
another question i have is if these chagers have boost functionaliry so i can use for example a 24V wind generator as an input source for the charger?
