Main Power Failure

Good day All, one of our installers have experienced a problem after installing a 10 000va Quattro.

The grid breaker in the Distributor board and the breaker that feeds to the AC input on the inverter, trips randomly without any reason. We did establish the grid voltage can sometimes drop as low as 150 Volt, we also know this will cause the amperage to increase and therefore tripping the breakers.

However this is seldom and doesn't occur every time the breaker's trip.

What are the possible reasons for this to occur, we look for any advice?

Possibly a problem with the inverter?

We look forward to any advice or comments on the above stated.

Many thanks

@Alex@greenzone

Is it a double pole? Single pole? RCD? What size cable is being used? Input current limit on the Quattro. Are you using ESS? If you are is it feeding into grid?

Are there any other breakers close by that are running hot?

There are 3 breakers.

Mains

Inverters mains from DB

And inverter input

They are using 10mm2 cable, with 50 Amp breakers. Input limit 30amp

They are using ESS, and they are avoiding feeding into the grid.
