Multiplus 2 internal programming

I think I’m right in saying the Multiplus has a temperature sensor input and possibly a relay based on that sensor like the two on the Venus? How do I get access to programming them? Thanks.

I would suggest you start reading the ample documentation, not just about the multi and it's available ports but also about assistants and virtual switches. From there you can find plenty of topics here by searching.
