Is that a 100-50 smart solar mppt? With a 12v battery? And you want to add another 375w panel?

Does the panel face the same direction? Got any panel specs? Weblink?

@jonp

As long as the input voltage never goes over the voltage input it will be fine (and this can happen in cold temperatures).

You just mention 50. That number usually refers to amps the mppt can charge at. (So am guessing it is like mine the 100/50 model?) And also assuming your 12v is referring to your battery voltage?

On a 12v system 50A of charging roughly means about 300w of solar (12v * 50A). Adding another panel won't improve the 50A charging limit, but will help with low light charging.

[Edited- 600W. But your batteries will charge to 14v? So yes will use the panels pretty much to the full]
