Orion TR 48/12 -30 Amperage Exposure on input side

Is there a maximum amperage that the converter can be exposed to on the input side? My 48V side can create amperage as high as 120A and I want to be sure that the converter won’t see that as an issue and just draw what it needs from the available power.

That'll be fine. The unit will only draw what it needs, like a max of ~7A @ 48V. Good practice might see you fuse both the +ve input/output wires, just for protection of the wires.

A short circuited load I'm not going to test mine for. :) Fusing should defend against that anyway.
