Ve Bus error code 29?

Hi, what does this error code mean? It is not listed.

Can you check via VC if any mppt's are reporting an error?

MPPT error 29 is overcharge protection.

As you say, VE bus errors aren't documented above 25 or so.

If it is the inverter, they may be more detail in the GX either under notifications or under the inverter tab.

Can you please provide a screenshot showing this error?

It should still be in the alarm log in VRM or perhaps in the Notifications menu on your GX device.

Is it something you just happened to see, or did the error also affect the system?

@Dylan what firmware is this system running?

After some digging, this isn't an error that should actually be visible to you and I see it resolved in 5 seconds, so presumably nothing actually was noticed by the client apart from the alert?

Current thinking is that it isn't anything to worry about.

Perhaps update the system if you are behind.
