Skylla as power supply running from generator. Poor man's 3-phase genvertor

Can a Skylla be used connected to a 3-phase diesel generator as a way to supply DC power.

Using it to turn an old AC generator, that the power supply isn't clean enough to run computers / sensitive electronics, into a DC generator basically. So the onboard inverters clean the power?

Thinking of it as poor man's Whisper Power genverter.

Skylla

Yes, but if you want to create AC again with an inverter, you have to use a battery as a buffer to prevent a too high DC-ripple (wich can damage the system).

A small 'high power' battery can be enough. added bonus: UPS functionality.
