Difference in Multiplus II models

I’m looking at using a Multiplus II inverter charger for an RV application in the United States. The trailer is 30amp only, so no need for the 2x120v Multiplus II.

Is there a reason that the 2x120v Multiplus II is the only one I can find available? Seems like the inverter I need is a Multiplus II 12/3000/120, but it’s not available anywhere.

The 2x120 is significantly heavier, and seems to be overkill for what I need. Am I wrong here?

You are not wrong.

As far as I can see, the only downside to the MP I is the higher idle consumption. That's what I'd go for.

Good point. And I was looking at a Multiplus II, but it looks like that is only available with 230V @50hz output.

Looks like the Multiplus II 2x120 is the only 3000VA inverter/charger with 120V @60hz besides going with the Multiplus 3000VA. And at that point it comes down to the form factor? Not sure I can fit the Multiplus height…
