Why does connect app show negative ac output when charging?

Hi all, could anybody shed any light on this? Using multiplus 24/2000/50 and 3kw inverter generator with ve bus smart dongle.



Everything does appear to be working fine, but while charging (from generator), and using very little load, I get a negative output of anything down to about -12W..


Does anyone have an explanation for this?

I am seeing the same thing on my Victron Multiplus 3000. In this case the charger is on, no solar, no generator but showing zero input yet I have negative AC output. I have the input and output AC neutral busses separated. Any ideas why this is happening

Hi, its a small measurement inaccuracy.

And since there are systems where this negative ac output is normal (ac coupled pv), the unit shows it.
