Prevent BMV from switching off when battery shuts off

Hello, I have a LifePo4 battery with BMS and I’m monitoring it with the BMV702.

Every time the battery runs off and shuts down, I lose data on the BMV so the SOC is always needing to be reset by a full charge and I don’t see the ‘last discharge’ data.

I’m planning to use the relay to switch off appliances before it gets to a full discharge, but is there another way to maintain power to the Victron, perhaps with the starter battery, or another independent source to keep the BMV on?!

I’ve got a 24v leisure battery.

Stop running the battery to 0%.

Continue with your plan to provide a means of protecting the battery by removing loads.

IMHO, the data is meaningless. If the battery is discharged to 0%, the "last discharge data" is "too much," regardless of the actual value.

When you know the battery is recovering from 0%, you can manually set the SoC to 0% thus negating the need for a full charge.
