Multiplus-II 2x120 Mounting

Hello,

Hoping someone can help with a few questions. I have a space where i cannot fit the unit into unless mounted on it's side on the wall and my other option is above the batteries.

1. Can the unit be mounted on the wall on is side? I find conflicting info on this.

2. Alternate mounting would be on it's back (feet down) above the batteries, is this acceptable?

3. What are the required clearances for the unit to mount in either position?

Thank you,

Mike

If you go by the manual, none of your mounting options is acceptable.

The reason is that you need good cooling.

The clearances are listed in the manual.

Plan to add addiitonal fans to pull air around and through the unit.

What's the usual ambient temperature in that enclosure?

Will the inverter be loaded close to its maximum for long periods?
