Added GUI Mods and display mods it wont dim. I've tried other things that has been listed in search.
Any ideas?

RPi 7" Not dimming
HDMI displays have no dim function, only the original direct connect pi display can be dimmed. I added a grey square box overlay (borderless filled rectangle) over the whole screen and dimm by changing the transparency of it, you don't save power, but it doesnt bother your night vision anymore.
@JohannDo can you explain how you did that. New to using HDMI Display on Raspberry Pi with Gui Mods and would like to accomplish the same (screen blanking/dimming)
