Multiplus II 5000/48 - Humming

Hello everyone!

I purchased my Victron Multiplus II 5000/48 this year, and fired up this weekend my system with a 10KWh powerwall. I get a humming sound almost of the time (see video in attach), that is not always constant.

The Multiplus II is on version 494.

Is this a real issue? Or is quite normal? :/

@BVG Yes, mine does the same noise when in Bulk mode. That is the sound of the charger going hard at it. If like mine its in a warm space, my fan also kicks in after a wile in bulk mode. It normally gets a bit quieter when it then switches over the absorption.

Sometimes the humming is worse than that. It's very strange.

Maybe the humming goes through the wall, and make it even worse.

The sound of the fan is quite normal for me.

Hi, i have the same issue. always on low load. charging with 5A on the DC bus.
