Modules in different orientations

Hello. I'm wondering how well a Victron charge controller would work with the design below:

1652158543321.pngMy understanding is that the MPPT voltage depends manly on the temperature that the modules are operating at. Since the modules are in different orientations they would potentially be operating at different temperatures.

If the design would need DC optimizers, are there any available other than Tigo?

If you can reach the minimum start up voltage to be able to start charging the batteries, it should work. Your efficiency in the mornings and evenings will be affected but your midday summer production should be fine.

Just be sure to put your parallels on the east and west together. ideally slightly south of east and west as winter will be more affected than summer.

Solar panels convert sunlight (photons) into free moving electrons. Heat has no beneficial effect on a solar pv panel.

What you need to look further into would be "angle of incidence".>> Link. <<
