using load output to charge router

I have a 75/10 controller with a 150w panel. I'm setting up a blink camera system and will use my netgear nighthawk router to configure, etc; both run on batteries, but the router needs to be charged. My plan is to connect the load output function on my controller to a usb charger port to connect the router. What are flaws with this approach? And is my understanding correct that the load output from controller is not isolated from my house bank? meaning the load is not solely powered from the panels? Many thanks for the sage counsel...
