I have a variety of Victron components on order including the Multiplus 2 that I'm planning out. It will have 1200 watts of solar. It will be installed in a travel trailer next to my home. I know it isn't much but I would like to utilize the solar power even when the trailer is unused. I may increase the solar later too.
If I keep the AC input hooked to grid and the AC output hooked to an appliance can I have the Multiplus pass through the solar first and make up the difference with the grid? Ideally leaving the battery at 80% in "storage" and not using battery cycles? Or would I have to use the battery and constantly recharge the battery from grid?
