MultiPlus-II 12V 3000VA 2x120Vac and Onan QG7000

I installed a MultiPlus-II 12V 3000VA 2x120Vac in my motorhome that has an Onan QG7000 generator. The MultiPlus-II 12V 3000VA 2x120Vac will not enter pass through mode unless it detects 2 legs of 120v power in split phase. My Onan QG7000 has 2 legs of 120v in phase with each other. Is there a way to trigger the MultiPlus-II 12V 3000VA 2x120Vac to enter pass through mode when the generator is on?
