MQTT badly messed up after 2.84 firmware

Upgraded to 2.84 when I was upgrading the firmware on my VEbus devices, few weeks later I noticed all my smart-home integrations had broken, or at least stopped receiving status updates. Upon further investigation, I found that the vast majority of previously existing MQTT topics from 2.73 were missing. After reverting back to 2.73, boom, they were all back again:

Only 2 topics available after upgrade, "P" and "Serial"!

After reverting to 2.73, upwards of almost 1000 available topics!

Hi ee21, are you sure this isn’t to do with how you are handling keepalive ? A new method of requesting keepalive was introduced in 2.80, although the old method should still work. https://github.com/victronenergy/dbus-mqtt#using-the-keepalive-method
