Multipluss II power assist

1. With genset supplying AC power to MPII, limited to lets say 1000W, if i have power assist activated and factor 2.0, this means MPII will take 1000W from genset and 2000W from battery, if a load would require 3000W?

2. Also, how much total power can MPII supply to loads regardles of the source - all from battery, all from genset, or the two combined?

For example: If i have genset of 3000W, will MPII supply 3000W +battery power to the loads, or only rated 3000W?

This is the answer i was looking for:

Multiplus II GX manual:

"• AC-out-1 The AC output cable can be connected directly to the terminal block 'AC-out'. From left to right: "N" (neutral), "PE"
(earth) and "L" (phase) With its PowerAssist feature the Multi can add up to 3kVA (that is 3000 / 230 = 13A) to the output during
periods of peak power requirement. Together with a maximum input current of 32A this means that the output can supply up
to 32 + 13 = 45 A"

Check out the technical specs page for the unit.

The 3000VA can do a 5000W peak.

VA and watts are different as power factor is also in question for the loads.

3000VA usually is around 2400W. It is all laid out in the tech specs page.

Alexandra, thank you for your effort, but i think completely misunderstood my question.

Maximum AC input current

32 A

Transfer switch

32 A

That is 7360W!

BUT:

Maximum feed-in power

3000 VA

???

So again, If i have genset of max 3000W, will MPII supply 3000W from genset + (for example) 2400W from battery to the loads (5400W) or only rated max 3000W?

Max feed in refers to grid feed in when you are using ESS. See here.

The 32A transfer switch is sized to run a full load 2400w and charge the battery at full current. (70a x 48v)

The unit will power assist if your input limit is 1000w and your load is 3000w.

But power assisting 3000w is a big ask.
