We had the privilege of visiting an older Victron installation with lead acid batteries installed plenty years ago. The old leads are a little tired and are being retired. There are obviously going to be some updates and changes, both hardware and software. But really trying to avoid doing unnecessary hardware replacements to avoid throwing away perfectly working equipment.
Does anyone know if the older models of MPPTs like the one pictured below, are usable or fully compatible in a ESS system?
