How to Disconnect the MPPT in Safety

I have just installed a new Lithium Battery and a Victron Smart MPPT... I want to do some work on the Solar on the roof, what is the safe and correct way to disconnect the Smart MPPT, i know to start it up it was Battery first then PV.. i take it that you just remove the PV to work on them..

You can switch the mppt off in software, using victron connect; go the cog in the top right, then battery you will see the option there.

But you should also have DC disconnects on the PV lines anyway.

And the PV cables will still be live, just not under load.

And you are right to never disconnect PV cables under load/charging.
