Multiplus 3000/12 Breaker Selection

To my understanding, I need to install a breaker next to the Multiplus for the AC out circuit. This is for the connection from the inverter to the coach fuse box (30 amp system). I have a 15 foot section of cable running under the vehicle to get to the breaker box and I want to make sure it is protected.

Here are my current questions:

1) Does it need to be a GFCI breaker?

2) Does it need to be a double pole breaker?

3) Are there any surface mount breaker options or are they all panel mount?

4) Any specific make and model I should look out for?

Thanks!

I should add, to my understanding, the Multiplus does not have any protects built-in for the AC circuits.

Is that correct?

Hi @Wandering Albatross

Take a look at what Victron offer for the the same Multi in an EasySolar box.. https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Datasheet-EasySolar-with-Color-Control-EN.pdf

#1. Victron's is.

#2. May depend on your country's regs. Victron's are all double-pole.

#3. You can buy surface mount boxes to contain standard din breakers.

#4. I suppose the brand could vary, but victron have used Chint, NL1 (rcd), NBH8 (gpo's), and NB1 (the acin).
